Perry Alter, Ph.D.
Senior Consultant
Perry
Alter is a Senior Consultant for Novations Group,
Inc. Based in Florida, he specializes in adapting selection
training and materials to clients’ unique needs and
competencies.
He has worked with many prominent companies, including
Blockbuster, Boston Scientific, Chevron, Crowe Chizek, EDS,
Entergy, Hewlett Packard, Honda, Imation, and Royal Bank. He
has been instrumental in designing the JobSync™ and
SkilMatch™ software programs that support the
company’s recommended job analysis and interviewing
processes. He has been conducting interview training for
the last decade.
Perry has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Research
from the University of Memphis. He has his Master’s
degree in Psychology from University of Memphis and his
bachelor’s degree in Communications from University
of Louisville. His dissertation focused on rater
errors in behavior-based interviewing. He has published
several times in research and industry journals.
