Tom McKinnon
Executive Consultant
Tom McKinnon brings over thirty years experience in
corporate human resources to his role as Executive
Consultant. In this role he works with executives and
senior managers to enable their companies to become the
"employer of choice" in the retention and
development of all employees.
Before joining Novations Group in 1999, he served as
Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate
Services at Ryder System Inc. Prior to Ryder; McKinnon was
with UNISYS Corporation for ten years and served as Vice
President, Human Resources for his last four years. Prior
to joining UNISYS, he was Employee Relations Manager for
the $6 billion General Electric Construction and
Engineering Services Group. He also held a range of human
resource positions at The Wickes Corporation,
and Chrysler Corporation. He held Human Resource
responsibility for as many as ninety countries and
supported sales, manufacturing and development operations
prior to assuming corporate wide scope.
McKinnon served on the Board of Trustees of the National
Urban League in New York for three years and on the Board
of Advisors for the University of Pennsylvania’s
Wharton Executive Education for nine years. In addition, he
has served on the boards for Florida Memorial College, The
Pennsylvania State University Valley Forge Graduate School
Campus, the Philadelphia High School Academies and
currently the American Cancer Society for the Carolinas.
