Novations Group, Inc. is a human capital training and
consulting firm providing solutions to increase the
capacity of individuals and organizations worldwide. Our
focus is to help businesses meet their strategic goals and
needs by significantly improving the performance of their
people in measurable and sustainable ways. Our Consulting
Department is looking for ICF Certified Career Coaches to
join our Coaching team on a contractor basis.
Position Summary: The Career
Coaches’ primary responsibility is to provide
face-to-face and telephone professional development
coaching for leaders from diverse backgrounds within
Fortune 500 organizations. Clients are primarily from
African American, Asian, and Latino backgrounds.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide semimonthly one-on-one coaching sessions to
identify coachee’s developmental needs, leverage
existing skills, and enhance key leadership behaviors to
achieve short-term and long-term goals.
- Support coachee in interpreting 360 degree assessments
(leadership capabilities).
- Conduct periodic joint conference calls with coachee,
coachee’s manager, and HR manager to review Strategic
Career Plan and provide progress reports.
- Provide monthly feedback of coaching themes
(non-confidential) for client reporting.
- Participate in monthly conference calls and attend
periodic national coaching meetings and training.
- Respond to Novations email and voice messages on a
daily basis, and adhere to Novations’ /Clients travel
policy when traveling on Novations business.
- Complete and submit monthly online timesheets and
expense reports.
Qualifications:
- Must be ICF Certified (International Coaching
Federation), minimum ACC level
- Experience in one-on-one coaching with managers and
senior managers from a variety of ethnic groups, i.e.,
African American, Latino, Asian, Indian
- 5+ years experience working inside corporate
environments and/or working with corporate clients
- Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in business or
related field, i.e., Psychology, Human/Organizational
Development
- Skill in the use of formal assessment tools
- Capable of communicating confidently and clearly via
face to face, voice to voice, and email
- A strong professional presence and demonstrated
ability to meet client needs
- Must pass background check and provide client and
professional references
