Project Management Professional Certified Facilitator (Trainer)

Our Facilitation Services (Training) team in is looking for PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified Facilitator (Trainer) to join us on a contracting basis.

Position Summary:

A Project Management Facilitator’s primary responsibility is to deliver Novations' services in accordance with academic standards for the curriculum, meeting or exceeding client expectations. Novations' services include the following: Communication, Diversity/Inclusion, Efficacy, Individual Development, Selection, Leadership and Management Development, Succession Planning, Training, Competency Modeling, Negotiation and Collaboration, Project Management, and Measurement and Assessment.

As Facilitators progress in their Novations' career they are encouraged and developed to take on additional responsibilities such as customizing, program design, sales support, and/or executive consulting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Successfully complete Facilitator development for Tools and Techniques of Project Management
  • Participate in cross-training activities 
  • Respond to Novations' email and voice messages at least once per business day and over a weekend if facilitating on that next Monday
  • Adhere to Novations’ Travel Policy when traveling on Novations' business
  • Complete and submit OpenAir timesheets and expense reports within 5 business days of delivery date
  • Participate in regional and national Facilitation Services Group conference calls as schedule permits
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate training or consulting experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of project related experience
  • PMP designation required
  • BA or BS degree required; graduate work in related field recommended
  • Capable of communicating confidently and clearly via email, voice-to-voice, and face-to-face
  • Demonstrated success in a cross-functional and virtual work environment
  • Experience recommended in instructional design
  • Must possess a strong professional presence and demonstrate ability to meet client needs
  • Experience in collaboration and teamwork
  • Dedication to continuous quality and performance improvement
  • Possess a learning orientation and remain open to feedback
  • Able to grow and build relationships
  • Value diversity and integrity
  • Working knowledge of computer use--(general office applications) and ability to use Novations' internal systems (OpenAir and Sharepoint)
  • Facilitation skills including: strong presentation skills, consulting skills, business acumen, group processing skills, and adapting to the needs of the adult learner
  • Planning and organizing
