Novations Delivers Diversity and Inclusion Online with New eLearning Modules
Asynchronous Online Learning Programs Expand Blended
Delivery Options for Clients
BOSTON, MA, July 27, 2009 —
Novations Group, Inc. (www.novations.com), a
global talent development firm, today announced the release
of online versions of two of its leading Diversity and
Inclusion training programs: Managing Inclusion™ and
Appreciating Differences™. The asynchronous
eLearning programs expand the firm’s ability to meet
growing client demand for blended training solutions and
cost-effective learning programs.
Both the Managing Inclusion and Appreciating Differences
programs have traditionally been delivered via
instructor-led classroom training. By additionally
offering these programs online, organizations have a
cost-effective solution for providing a large number of
employees access to the content and learning when they are
unable to be together for classroom training.
“The online version of these programs provides a
great opportunity for knowledge transfer,” said
Rebecca Hefter, Novations senior vice president of Product
Development and Facilitation Services. “While the
classroom still provides the strongest platform for skill
building and behavior change, we understand that investment
in those programs is not always a possibility for clients
today. These eLearning programs provide a viable
solution for exposing employees to the key content.”
Both programs feature self-paced modules delivered in an
interactive format that includes audio, graphics, and
animations to help learners understand the content and how
to apply it to their own work environment. Similar to
the classroom-based version of Managing Inclusion and
Appreciating Differences, clients have the option to
implement the standard eLearning programs or customize
them.
About the Appreciating Differences eLearning
Program
The Appreciating Differences eLearning program presents a
pressure‐free approach to exploring diversity with an
interactive mix of models, exercises, scenarios, and
on‐the‐job support.
Target Audience: Employees at all levels who are
unable to be together for classroom diversity training.

a respectful work environment

About the Managing Inclusion eLearning
Program
The Managing Inclusion eLearning program demonstrates the
connection between diversity and inclusion and business
performance. Users follow a manager as she reviews
her team interactions and the impact of her managerial
behavior on engagement and performance.
Target Audience: Managers who want to increase
inclusion and performance but are unable to attend
classroom training.
Objectives:
-Understand the business case for leveraging diversity and
inclusion to create more “go‐to”
performance
-Recognize the relationship between diversity and inclusion
and engagement and performance
-Understand how to position employees for success
-Use a tool to plan and conduct development conversations
Program Length: 90 minutes
Both programs are SCORM, AICC, and 508 compliant, and can
be hosted on a company LMS, intranet, or outside
server. Site licensing is available for multiple-year
usage.
