Boeing and Novations Honored With 2007 PMI Professional Development Provider of the Year Award - Organizational Category
ATLANTA, Oct. 8,

Management Institute (PMI®), the world's leading
membership association for the project management
profession, has awarded The Boeing Company and its project
management training partner, Novations Group, Inc., with
the PMI Professional Development Provider of the Year Award
in the organizational category. The award recognizes
exceptional skills in the delivery and implementation of a
professional development program in project management.
Since Boeing launched its project management curriculum in
2003, more than 19,000 Boeing employees have participated
in project management training and 530 Boeing project
managers have gone on to earn Project Management
Professional (PMP®) credentials. In 2006, project
management training was provided to 3,222 Boeing employees.
The Masters Certificate in Project Management from Stevens Institute of
Technology was awarded to 274 participants in 2006, and
55 earned PMP credentials. Novations Group, Inc., in
partnership with Stevens Institute of Technology, delivers
the project management training for Boeing. Based on the
success of traditional classes, Boeing and Novations has
begun offering virtual project management classrooms via
the Internet.
The PMI Professional Development Provider of the Year Award
in the individual/business category was presented on 6
October 2007 during the 2007 Awards Ceremony held in
conjunction with the PMI Global Congress—North
