Appreciating Differences
One-Day Program and Three-Day Certification

How does your organization define success? We know that employee engagement is a key indicator of organizational success—regardless of industry, country, or product. The business case for creating diversity change agents is compelling. Having a mindset that is predisposed to appreciate differences leads to behaviors that support all employees in working to their full potential. This enhances their emotional connection with your organization. Appreciating Differences is a proven tool that will help drive effective teamwork and full utilization of all employees.

This dynamic program sets in motion a powerful culture change by establishing a baseline that every employee—regardless of level—is expected to be a diversity change agent for the organization. Program participants will understand that diversity extends far beyond age, ethnicity, and gender, to include work style, location, education, religion, tenure, physical attributes and abilities, family status and more.

Upon completion of Appreciating Differences, participants will:

  • Recognize biaswhere it comes from and how it affects our interactions, decisions, and behaviors.
  • Apply skills learned in the program to improve employee interactions in order to sustain inclusive environments.
  • Develop a meaningful plan to apply the concepts learned in this course to create a competitive advantage.

Appreciating Differences is also offered as a three-day Train-the-Trainer Certification program for organizations who wish to deliver the workshop internally.
