national pharmaceutical company decided to develop their
high-performing contributors to take on management
responsibilities. In response, they created a program to
identify those most likely to succeed in management, and to
provide them with appropriate tools and training.

A customized version of Novations’ Four
Stages® model provided the foundation to help
high-potentials understand the scope of the transition.
Members of the organization's Leadership Development
team were certified to deliver Novations' solution to
300 high-potential candidates.
Results
Results to date include:
- A 3% reduction in turnover within the high-potentials
group
- Candidates awarded the training a 96% satisfaction
rating
- 98% of senior executives exposed, agreed to the
'talent review process' as a critical leadership
development action for the company
The next phase provides high-potentials with coaching
skills and training on how to contribute through others,
and development and coaching skills for their managers.
